THE CANDY COMMITMENT TO YOUR LEARNING:

Team Leadership: The Candy Academy Internship Program provides event industry experience to those that meet the requirements of application.  Once approved, a Candy Academy Internship Coordinator will be assigned to you and will be committed to walk with you through the entire internship process - start to finish.  They will ensure you get the information, insight and tools you came to receive.  

Relevant Experience:  We will work with you to customize your experience to your skills set, background and desired area of learning.   Areas of responsibility will cover a variety of event industry disciplines including event planning, logistics, facilities, production, marketing, design, promotion, set-up, decor, catering, communications, team building, volunteer management, and more.  As an intern you will have the opportunity to engage in many areas but may specialize in one or two of your choice. 

Follow Through:  At the end of your internship, your Internship Coordinator will evaluate your progress, develop a strength overview and assist with recommendations for your future learning.  Gaining access to the information, insight and tools is only the beginning.  We will support your journey by giving you ways to keep in touch with the latest in information and resources through the Candy Academy community and it's partners.
